As a member of the Board of Advisors for the Center for Strategic Information Technology and Security, you help keep the Minnesota business community vibrant through the development of business, marketing, and degree program plans, as well as product development strategies related to enterprise customers.
You serve in an advisory and advocacy role for curriculum approval processes, grant requests, industry partnership programs, and evaluation efforts. |

Select Your Focus
The Center has three initiative areas on which members of the board may choose to focus, student-based, business-based, and open source software-based.
Involvement typically requires attending two Board meetings yearly, sharing your ideas and expertise during two to four committee meetings and interactions with or outreach to businesses.
