Part-time Teaching
You have expertise worth sharing! The Center can provide a path
to
becoming an Adjunct Teaching Professional with Metropolitan State
University, Inver Hills Community College, or the Minneapolis Community
Technical College. Use your existing IT and business knowledge to help
IT students further their understanding of an IT career path. These
adjunct positions are flexible, after-hours classes offering
compensation.

Guest Lectures
The Center presents IT professionals as guest speakers to our IT
students and the business community. A great way to learn the insights
of an IT staff and associated dynamics is through the real-life
viewpoint from an IT professional. If you would like to share your
experiences with IT students and or other IT professionals, the Center
can help you get your ideas out to eager minds!

Interviews
Help the coming generation of IT professionals reach
success. As young
IT graduates find their path into the business world, the Center
encourages them to interact with IT professionals using informational
interviews as a learning tool. By meeting with students and discussing
the "real world" work experience and team approaches you can offer an
important influence to that validates their IT career decision.

Development
Our IT faculty is always working to improve the content of the
curriculum used to teach the next generation of IT professionals. Your
ideas on how the content can be improved or for new technologies that
should be included in current content is welcome. We put you in touch
with the appropriate faculty, ensuring your thoughts receive
consideration.

Advisory Board
Your IT business and professional knowledge and experience are valuable
assets to the Center for Strategic IT & Security. We would
like to
invite you to join our Advisory Board. The board comes together twice a
year to discuss the Center's success path, to help define the projects
the Center will develop, and to engage in a dialogue regarding the
direction of Information Technology. |
