Degrees of Success: Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree

Associate's Degrees

 

You can earn a "two-year" associate's degree at Minneapolis Community & Technical College or Inver Hills Community College. The various associate's degrees and their commitment level include:

  • Associate of Arts  AA
  • Associate of Applied Science  AAS
  • Associate of Science  AS
  • 60 - 64 Credits
  • Take about two years to complete if attending full time
  • Full time is 12 - 16 credits per semester in fall and spring

You don't have to choose your program immediately, but if you know you are interested in a degree at IHCC or MCTC, you can review their admissions web sites, and then talk with an admissions counselor about the programs and applying to the college.

Bachelor's Degrees

 

You can pursue a "four-year" bachelor's or a graduate degree at Metropolitan State University. The various bachelor''s degrees and their commitment level include:

  • Bachelor of Arts  BA
  • Bachelor of Applied Science  BAS
  • Bachelor of Science  BS
  • 120 - 128 credits
  • Take about two years to complete if attending full time
  • Full time is 12 - 16 credits per semester in fall and spring
