The business-based committee is the choice for Board of Advisor members interested in developing programs and possibilities that serve small and medium-sized businesses and their personnel.Committee members provide counsel, direction, and ideas for online and interactive projects. In addition to attending regular twice yearly board meetings, committee members may meet with each other and the Center staff for 2 to 4 additional meetings during the 2007/2008 academic year. |

Applied Research and Consultancy ModelThis project is a faculty-led effort to bring the expertise of MnSCU faculty and students to Minnesota businesses. Your expertise will be called on to help form the consultancy model and find consultancy opportunities in the Minnesota business community.Continuing Education / Customized TrainingIdentifying the customized training and continuing education direction for the Center of Excellence is an important aspect of this committee’s work as it works to determine IT training gaps and the solutions that will fill them.InternshipsCommittee members will be developing the internship program for IT students. This includes networking with small and medium business personnel and promoting the possibility of internships within businesses and other employers.Post Implementation Review (PIR)The BOA will promote the Post Implementation Review at professional IT associations and in their own corporations. |
