The Center for Strategic Information Technology and Security sponsored Doug Landoll, a senior analyst with the NSA, who led an informative "insiders viewpoint" security discussion.
The discussion focused on data classifications and security policies for businesses. Data classification enables business security professionals to manage security priorities and compliance issues. Security policies for business allow organizations to communicate in a clear and precise manner to all employees on the best security practices and consequences.
Many State and local agencies, local security firms personnel, filled the hall, including the Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Minnesota and a Representative from the FBI as well as many other security professionals.
The Center will continue to provide free IT discussions and presentations by leaders in the IT field.
