Even after moving the venue to a more capacious hall, the room was packed with over 200 people who came to hear security guru Bruce Schneier discuss "The Economics of Information Security - Ten Trends."
Schneier, a captivating speaker, enthralled the audience with his insights and in-depth discussion of identified trends, including the economic impact of security breaches, and philosophical wisdom that revealed who really suffers when breaches occur.
The Center and OWASP plan to co-sponsor an electric slate of speakers for 2008. Next up will be web aps security expert "R. Snake" on 11 February 2008. Stay tuned for more information. |
