Advance IT Minnesota is the Center of Excellence in IT for the State of Minnesota, administered through the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Housed on the Metropolitan State University Minneapolis campus, we partner with IT programs from state colleges and universities. Our charter partners are Metropolitan State's College of Management and College of Arts and Sciences; Inver Hills Community College; and Minneapolis Community & Technical College.

Advance IT Minnesota promotes industry/education alignment. To use an IT-related metaphor, Advance IT Minnesota can be thought of as an "intelligent server" that establishes connections and helps coordinate a network of resources that produce outcomes initiated by the Center and by others.
